MICHAEL EHRLICH JOINS INDEPENDENT SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT AS VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
NEW YORK, January 25, 2017 – Independent Sports & Entertainment (ISE) – an integrated sports, media, entertainment and management company – announced today that Michael Ehrlich joined the company as vice president of marketing communications.
A veteran sports communications executive, Ehrlich’s experience extends across the globe, working with athletes, entertainers, teams, collegiate partners, leagues, and major sporting events, most recently serving as adidas’ director of public relations.
“The media landscape and the fusion of editorial and social continue to evolve each day, and at ISE we recognize the power of athletes as storytellers in the digital world we live in now,” said ISE Chief Marketing Officer Chris Grancio. “Michael’s expertise across traditional and new media will further enhance our marketing and communications capabilities as we help build the personal brands of our world class, modern day athletes.”
In his new role, Ehrlich will build the ISE brand overall and support more than 300 MLB, NBA and NFL clients through editorial and social media storytelling, and content creation opportunities. A California native, Ehrlich will report to Grancio and work from the company’s Los Angeles office.
Previously, Ehrlich led public relations across sport and style categories for adidas, developing and executing programs to support athlete brands, product launches, marketing campaigns, event sponsorships and college athletic programs.
Ehrlich has served as an industry expert at conferences and events around the globe, and is a contributor to www.FrontOfficeSports.org, where he explores best practices and trends across the communications and social media spaces.
