Power Hitter to Lead ISE Baseball Marketing
NEW YORK, September 27, 2016 – Independent Sports & Entertainment (ISE), an integrated sports, media, entertainment and management company, announced Jason Spector as Vice President Marketing, Baseball. Spector will add value to ISE immediately as he brings years of brand and talent management experience as well as a wealth of marketing knowledge.
Spector is responsible for securing off of the field revenue and branding opportunities for ISE’s MLB and MiLB clients including All-Stars Chris Archer, Miguel Cabrera, Nelson Cruz, Mark Melancon, Justin Verlander, Jordan Zimmermann and many more. In addition, he will leverage his extensive network of Fortune 500 companies to build clients’ brands locally, nationally and globally.
Chief Executive Officer and President Hank Ratner as well as the ISE leadership team have made generating marketing and branding opportunities for clients a priority at the newly formed company. The firm recently named Chris Grancio Chief Marketing Officer and Spector is the second significant hire for the company this month. Spector will report to ISE Baseball Chief Executive Officer Mark Pieper and Grancio. He will work out of ISE’s Los Angeles Office.
Before joining ISE, Spector worked as a Talent Buyer for Ketchum Sports & Entertainment. He negotiated and managed all sports talent deals for the firm’s 300 brands and boards including Hershey’s, Nestle, Kimberly Clark, H&R Block, Philips and General Mills. In addition to his extensive experience working with baseball players and brands, Jason has worked on activations with celebrities like Serena Williams, Magic Johnson, Jerry Rice and many other globally recognized athletes.
